BET has ordered three new reality shows to premiere in the coming months.
The cable network has given out series orders to a docuseries starring Keyshia Cole, Nelly, and David and Tamela Mann, reports The Hollywood Reporter. “These three shows are led by talent that our audience connects with but are also very different shows,” BET senior vice-president of original programming Charlie Jordan Brookins told THR.
Cole’s new series (her third with BET) has been picked up for six half-hour episodes that will follow the singer as she tries to cope with her relationship with estranged husband, NBA player Daniel Gibson, motherhood, and her changing career.
The Mann’s show will follow the Meet The Browns couple and theiir family of four adult children.
Meanwhile, Nelly’s unscripted series will consist of eight hourlong episodes following the rapper as he navigates his music career, businesses (he co-owns the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats), and relationship with his children and the children of his late sister. It’ll also include his new relationship with Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s ex-girlfriend, Miss Jackson.
No premiere dates have been announced.
