My brother has heaters under the tiles in his bathroom. I love the idea of non-freezing cold tiles in the winter time. My husband wears slippers everywhere, but I cant be bothered by them. What are your feelings on these? I’ve been told that if there is a problem with the plumbing, you’re stuck or you have to pull up the tiles. KIM MYLES: I love under-floor heating systems–so luxurious! The key here is to call in a proper contractor (or 3!) to access your floor situation, trouble shoot and give you an estimate. Once you have the right information, you can make an educated decision. When done correctly, under floor heating is an investment that definitely improves your quality of life. Read more:
