My brother has heaters under the tiles in his bathroom. I love the idea of non-freezing cold tiles in the winter time. My husband wears slippers everywhere, but I cant be bothered by them. What are your feelings on these? I’ve been told that if there is a problem with the plumbing, you’re stuck or you have to pull up the tiles. KIM MYLES: I love under-floor heating systems–so luxurious! The key here is to call in a proper contractor (or 3!) to access your floor situation, trouble shoot and give you an estimate.
