Sheila Johnson continues to take the sports world by storm. Since selling BET, which she cofounded with ex-husband Bob Johnson, the second richest Black woman after Oprah has invested in the Washington Mystics, Capitals and Wizards and just hosted a PGA Tour at her Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Tampa, according to Golf.com. Johnson may have played her first 18 holes only in the last few months, but she is learning fast, as one of the first Black women to own a golf resort in a sport with few brown faces. Fore! —CJ
