The Rat Pack is coming back to the Strip.
Yesterday, the city of Las Vegas renamed one of its roads leading into the city Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, reports the Las Vegas Sun. The name change comes more than 20 years after Davis died of throat cancer.

“Sammy Davis Jr. and the rest of the Rat Pack put Las Vegas on the map,” county commissioner Chris Giunchigliani said in a press release. “Now we are literally putting Sammy on the map and reuniting him with the rest of the Rat Pack for the first time in decades. This is great for Las Vegas, great for Sammy and his children and great for the businesses along this corridor.”
Currently, two nearby streets are named in honor of Rat Pack legends Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
We think this name change warrants a road trip!
