Lauryn Hill and Fantasia will take to the stage at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which takes place now through May 8th. The addition of these two R&B stars adds a little more diversity to the festival’s lineup, which includes John Legend, The Roots and Bon Jovi.
“This is one of our broadest years, musically speaking,” said Quint Davis, producer of the annual music event. In addition to Lauryn Hill and Fantasia, Wyclef Jean will also be performing a special tribute to Haiti and highlighting the continued earthquake recovery efforts. There will be a Haiti Pavillon featuring Haitian artists, food, and a panel discussion on the cultural and historical links between New Orleans and Haiti.
The Festival runs through May 8 at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans.
