Just days after giving birth to her sixth child this past weekend, Lauryn Hill took to Twitter to address the many rumors swirling about her personal life. The latest being that her on-and-off again partner Rohan Marley had left her while she was pregnant, for a Brazilian model named Isabeli Fontana.
In a lengthy Twitter message, Ms. Hill wrote:
“Mr. Marley and I have a long and complex history about which MANY inaccuracies have been reported since the beginning. To speculate without the facts can only cause people to form WRONG conclusions. We both value privacy and for that reason defend and preserve our right to it. Contrary to numerous reports, Mr. Marley did not abandon me while pregnant with his child. We have had long periods of separation over the years but our 5 children together remain a joy to both of us. Thank you for you concern and I appreciate all the well wishes regarding the birth of my new son.”
It looks like Lauryn is saying that Rohan didn’t cheat on her while pregnant (presumably because they’re not together), and he’s not a new father. Rohan seemed to confirm this as well, tweeting, ”I’m forwarding all well wishes to Ms. Hill on the birth of her new son,” this past weekend.
Now, can we let Ms. Hill get some rest and enjoy the new addition to her family?
