In fact, the newly-resigned $100 million basketball player was out and about in Akron, Ohio yesterday treating 5,000 students and their families to a day at Cedar Point amusement park, “the rollercoaster capital of the world.”

According to the Akron Beacon Journal, this is the second year LeBron has taken a trip to Cedar Point. They also report that this year’s adventure “marks the beginning of a partnership between James and a new third-grade class to encourage the youngsters to work hard and stay in school.”
Students who partake in the LeBron James Family Foundation’s We Are Family Reunion and Wheels for Education eventually “graduate to the Akron I Promise initiative.”
