Here are some big deals for mommy’s on a dime: Staples: The office supply store is boasting 1 cents deals (that right, a mere penny) on everything from one-subject notebooks to a 60-pack of paper. Don’t miss the $1 pack of four sharpies or the 50 cent pencil pouches. Kmart: This is a smart shop for backpacks, whether it’s traditional, a messenger bag or one with wheels. We found a Kids Charter Backpack with Detachable Lunch Bag for $11.19. In other stores, book bags are starting at $30. Walmart: Uniform tops for $6? Two packs of khaki shorts for $18? Talk about a rollback! Aside from outfitting your kid with the right uniform wear, shop here for study essentials like desks. We found a cute, organizing, desk called Mainstays Glass-Top Desk, Purple, for only 49 bucks. That’s less than the cost of a good pair of sneakers.
