Rumors sparked when Dash was absent from the 2012 Season 2 premiere of Single Ladies as her character Valerie was shipped off to Milan and replaced by Raquel, played by Denise Vasi.

In previous interviews, McCoy-Misick had always attributed Dash’s exit with a spout that took place between Dash and the director, but according to the promo, her story’s changed.
