A new study says that women who wake up earlier are at a decreased risk of developing depression. Published in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, the data was collected from more than 32,000 female nurses with a median age of 55 years old. Those who reported waking up early were between 12 percent and 27 percent less likely to develop depression in comparison to those who reported being neither a morning or an evening person.
