“It’s fun to play a happily married couple,” Warner told Access Hollywood.
Reflecting on his days starring in “The Cosby Show,” one of the first shows to portray Black families in a positive light, Malcolm admits that “Reed Between the Lines” has some of the same family charm of the iconic sitcom.

“It’s nice to be able to play a couple that really digs each other. That’s the Cliff and Claire of it,” said Malcolm referencing the husband and wife from “The Cosby Show.” “You knew that Cliff really dug his wife, and she loved him so it’s kind of reminiscent of that.”
Tracee agrees that she doesn’t mind the comparisons to “The Cosby Show.” “How could we not aspire to that?” asked Tracee. “It’s been magical.”
We can’t wait to watch “Reed Between the Lines” when it premieres tomorrow on BET!
