Marlon Wayans is expanding his digital reach by launching a new urban-skewing comedy site called WhatTheFunny.com, reports Deadline.
The site, which had a soft launch in November 2013, already boasts a following of more than 1 million unique viewers thanks to videos by the likes of Internet star Todrick Hall, and this hialrious parody of Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love.”
Wayans has partnered with FunnyorDie co-founder Randy Adams for the venture.
“If Funny or Die is the Saturday Night Live of the web, what we’re trying to do is the In Living Color of the web,” Adams told The Hollywood Reporter last year.
So far, the network has posted a dozen web series’ and is developing more content featuring Wayans’ big brother Damom, actor Omar Epps and former NFL star Terrell Owens.
