She was recently confirmed as a guest on his new album, slated for release in 2012, the Boombox.com reports.
Still reveling in some of those late-night recording jitters, the rocker happily announced on his Twitter that he and Mary were in the studio making magic. “Just finished a session w/Mike Clink engineering on a track w/Mary j Blige. Sounds killer!” he tweeted.
Plus, the “Living Proof Diva” is working hard on her own album, “My Life II: The Journey Continues.” A sequel to her 1994 sophomore LP, the album will feature collaborations with Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, Rico Love and Nicki Minaj.
