A man has been arrested for killing three girls, including his six-year-old sister, in Maryland on Friday, according to Prince George’s County police.
Antonio Williams, 24, killed the three girls who were all under the age of 10. He has confessed to the killings, but police have yet to discover the motive. Another two-year-old was found alive and unharmed, according to a law enforcement official familiar with the case.
Williams has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder.
“We all feel this loss,” said Assistant Police Chief Hector Velez said. “We want to assure the community that the Prince George’s County Police Department will work tirelessly to find the person or persons responsible for these children’s deaths.”
Williams was supposed to be babysitting his sister Nadira Withers and two young cousins, Ariana Decree, 9, and Ajayah Decree, 6, while his mother was working an overnight shift as a nurse, according to NBC-WBAL. The Decree sisters are from Newark, New Jersey, and they are the daughters of the William’s mother’s cousin.
Williams’ mother came home to find the three girls with stab wounds.
“During his interview yesterday evening, he confessed to stabbing all three of the children while they were laying in bed together. Again, Mr. Williams has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder,” said Capt. Anthony Shartner.
