White was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and in 1995 he announced that he would no longer tour or perform with the group. Earth, Wind & Fire is known for timeless hits like “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “Shining Star” and “After the Love is Gone.” White was with the group when they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
