Yesterday, Oscar-nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away. Today, news is surfacing about his relationship with fiancée Omarosa Manigault. According to TMZ, the couple were planning to wed in January.
Duncan and Manigault had just begun planning their wedding when Duncan suffered a heart attack on July 13. They were holding the details about their upcoming wedding a secret, telling only a select few family members and friends. Unfortunately, Duncan never fully recovered from his heart attack. He remained hospitalized until his death.
Immediately following Duncan’s passing, his Hollywood peers began to show their support. Tom Hanks, his Green Mile co-star said, “I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned.”
His good friend Niecy Nash tweeted, “R.I.P. Michael Clarke Dunan. We shared some great times. See you on the other side friend.” While Steve Harvey tweeted, “I will miss my friend, Michael Clarke Duncan. What an incredible soldier in God’s Plans.”
Funeral arrangements for the actor have yet to be announced.
