As President Barack Obama meets for his second debate with Mitt Romney tonight, he can rest assured that he has full support and encouragement from his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama.
“I think my husband has done a phenomenal job, not just in the debate, but in the last three and a half years as president. I’m always so proud of what he’s done,” the First Lady expressed in a recent sit down with Mario Lopez on Extra.
With criticism still brewing from the last debate, Lopez opened the interview asking Mrs. Obama’s thoughts on how tonight’s might unfold, and was met with optimism. “I’ll see how they approach the next debate on Tuesday, but I know he’s gonna do well. The thing that I know my husband believes, is that he wants to do well for the American people, not just in a debate but as President.”
Tune in tonight for the second debate at 9 p.m. ET.
