Miguel can add mentor to his growing resumé.
The Kaleidscope Dreams singer is among the latest crop of stars selected to mentor the various teams on NBC’s The Voice, reports Billboard.com.
Miguel, who was recently arrested for driving under the influence, will help guide Cee Lo Green’s team. Cher will advise Blake Shelton’s team, Ed Sheeran will guide Christina Aguilera’s squad and Ryan Tedder will do the same for Adam Levine’s team.
NBC Entertainment President of Late Night and Alternative Programming Paul Telegdy said he’s excited about the new stars joining the show. “This group of wildly successful musicians will add their distinctive talents to their respective teams,” said Telegdy. “I know Christina, Adam, Cee Lo and Blake are very much looking forward to having them come aboard.”
It’s unclear if the pop star, who accidentally crash landed on a fan at the Billboard Music Awards back in May, is prepping for a new album. Earlier this week, Miguel released a new song, “Can’t Sleep Together,” for the Adult Swim network.
