This past week I was invited to the digital launch party of the LiSi Cosmetics flagship store, which I’d like to call the beauty guru’s “pocket savior.” The LiSi line provides the equivalent of high-end department store products for lower than drug store prices! The Manhattan boutique is stocked full of colorful cosmetics, tools and accessories that any makeup maven would adore. I know because I’m one of them!
I picked up the GLO Liquid Skin Illuminator ($7.90), which I discovered is the perfect product for a golden, sun-kissed look. The silky-smooth Illuminator goes on like a serum and adds a long-lasting highlight when applied to the upper cheekbones and tip of the nose. I also love that this liquid bronzer comes in a whopping ten shades, leaving you the option to coordinate it with your blush color or choose a neutral hue for a barely-there approach.
Among the other LiSi goodies I purchased were the Perfect Brows Brow Gel & Powder ($7.90) along with the Brow Perfector Eye Brow Pencil and Brush ($5.90). I’ve never had full, lush eyebrows, so I was happy to see that after using the gel and brush to fill in my brows and the powder to set and adjust the color, my brows looked like I stepped out of a luxury threading studio. Genius!
Yes, the price of these LiSi items could sound too good to be true, but ladies, they don’t disappoint. I always find quality to be the most important factor in my makeup purchases, and at LiSi, I walked away with great products for only $24.70. I’d say that’s a pretty good deal.
