It’s been four days since employees at a Domino’s Pizza in Madison County, Mississippi, say they’ve seen their colleague. The 31-year-old woman who worked as a driver, left the business on Friday and never returned. Authorities are now asking for the public’s help in locating her.
According to the Clarion Ledger, Helerica “Latrice” Dortch was last seen around 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. She departed the Domino’s Pizza on Peace Street in Canton, Mississippi, in her maroon, 2015 Chevy Malibu, which has since been found abandoned. She is said to have been wearing her Domino’s uniform. Authorities say she is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.
The Ledger reached out to Molly Yildirim, owner of the Domino’s where Dortch is an employee and was last seen. She says that she and her team are fully cooperating with law enforcement to help locate the missing woman. She did not clarify if Dortch was still on the clock or leaving work when she disappeared.
The Mississippi franchise is prepared to offer a reward for any information that will aid in the safe return of an employee they describe as both “very private” and a hard worker.
“We’re really praying and hoping we can find her,” Yildirim told the outlet. “It’s really sad something like this would happen.”
Authorities are asking the public to contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Department at 601-859-2345 with any information.
