Michael Jackson fans are not happy over reported discount sales for the singer’s upcoming Tribute. Promoters have recently sent MJ ticketholders in a frenzy after slashing ticket prices and offering 2-for-1 deals to the big event, Reuters reports.

Based on comments from the Jackson fan website and Facebook page, some fans are apparently outraged that promoters are offering huge discounts, after thousands of people have already spent hundreds on their tickets.
Some angry fans recently formed a Facebook group titled Fans Against Michael Forever Tribute, and posted a link to the Ticketmaster UK site offering a “buy 1 get 1 free” discount on tribute tickets beginning Sept. 16.

According to the Facbeook posting, the offer would not apply to tickets already purchased for the October 8 “Michael Forever” concert in Cardiff, Wales. The anti-tribute group is growing with already 1,228 supporters on Facebook.
