The gig: I champion Champions on how to stop spending 100% of their time on 10% of who they are. I teach the 9 Principles of Exponential Living on how to pursue peace, choose clarity, and live courageously.
The journey: When I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to work at a record label and live in Atlanta. After college, I worked part-time at a record store and worked my way to my dream job as Marketing Director at LaFace Records where I lead campaigns for Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher and others. After three years, I resigned to live another one of my dreams – to be an entrepreneur.
Her lesson learned: One mistake I made for many years was giving my power away. In the last few years, I’ve learned to live in my power by broadening my definition of success, truly recognizing my value, and living in the truth of my own story.
Her career tips: Success is always achieved outside of your comfort zone. Know your value and walk in the authority of that value. Collaborate and celebrate others.
How she unwinds: My downtime is spent with my husband and two daughters. I love to go to the movies and travel.
Her secret superpower: I am a prayer warrior who loves to read the bible and apply it to my life.
Her theme song: Right now it’s “This Girl is on Fire” by Alicia Keys
My tech fix: My favorite apps are Instagram, The Bible, Audible, TED, and my bank.
My beauty routine: Drinking 64 ounces of water of daily, Epiduo, Cetaphil lotion, Mac #7 Lashes and eight hours of sleep.
My power accessory: Dresses, statement shoes and authentic confidence.
