Why She’s One to Watch:
Ryce launched her Buffalo, New York–based full-service general construction company in 1996. Her client list includes the New York Power Authority, the Buffalo public school system, hospitals and churches. In 2013, she completed $10.4 million worth of work for the University of Buffalo alone. Ryce recently added a development division to SLR and is currently working on a multimillion-dollar housing development deal on the West Coast. She also has plans to help develop burgeoning cities like Toronto.
