The eldest daughter of boxing and civil rights icon Muhammad Ali is firing back at rumors of a feud brewing over the late legend’s estate.
Maryum Ali spoke to the Daily Mail to shut down rumors from various sources that she and her siblings hate each other and are upset by the division of Ali’s estate.
“My father raised me and my siblings to love each other and that is exactly who we are — Very loving people. We are not in any feuds with each other or with our stepmother, Lonnie,” she said.

Sources previously revealed that Ali’s children all allegedly hate his widow, Lonnie Ali, and that a feud has broken out over how the estate is being divided, with each of his kids receiving $6 million and Lonnie allegedly receiving twice that amount. There were also rumors that their stepmother kept them from seeing Ali and they’d voiced their disdain over the way his funeral was handled.
“It’s unfortunate that there is someone out there submitting stories with so many untrue statements,” Maryum added.
“We try to ignore these articles, but they seem to be never-ending, which is sad because I know I have some wonderful siblings that simply want to live peaceful lives.”
