Laila Ali on Her Father’s Muhammad Ali’s Health: ‘He’s Still Fighting’
Ali, who is battling Parkinson’s, has been hospitalized a few times in recent years.
The Associated Press reported that Ali’s health condition might be more serious than previous hospital stays, citing unnamed sources familiar with his condition.
Back in March, the boxing champ’s daughter, Laila Ali, told PEOPLE that her father was in good spirits and continued to fight. “That man continues to put me in awe. He’s such a fighter, still, when at times he seems weak and not able to handle it he comes through stronger than ever. He’s still fighting regardless and I love my dad for that.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ali and his family. We wish him a speedy recovery.
