The boxing legend was rushed to the hospital on November 19th after slipping into unconsciousness. He was urgently taken from his home in Paradise Valley, Arizona to medical facilities at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center after his wife Yolanda called 911.
According to the Star Magazine, “The victim started to pass out in the car and when they got him into the house he fell unconscious,” Alan Laitsich, a spokesperson for Paradise Valley Police. They continued, mentioning that “it’s not known what Ali was treated for at the hospital, nor how long he spent there.”
Since the 69-year-old champ was been released, he was able to enjoy Thanksgiving with his family. But his battle with Parkinson’s disease for the past 27 years has left him severely disabled, as noted by his last appearance at Joe Frazier’s funeral on November 14th.
We hope the legend gets better.
