Leona Lewis is celebrating the holidays by putting her soulful sound on a remake of the Christmas classic, “O Holy Night.”
The carol is lifted from her forthcoming holiday album, Christmas, With Love, which the songstress says will feature a distinct Motown feel.
“I’d really started to record in the frame of the Christmas songs that I loved when I was growing up and the Motown kind of records that were played in my house at Christmas time,” says Lewis. “So it just kind of took on a life of its own and got [that] Motown vibe about it.”
Christmas, With Love is set to drop December 3 but before then, take a listen to “O Holy Night” and let us know if you’ll be listing this holiday season.
