Most films go the traditional route from the big screen, to the small screen, to DVD in a matter of months. But it’s the reverse for 50 Cent’s movie “Things Fall Apart.”
Although it was shot in 2010 and aired on BET in 2011, it’s prepping for a splashy debut in theaters on February 14th.
Directed by Mario Van Peebles, the film follows Deon a football player, played by 50 Cent, who encounters a deadly disease at the height of his college football career.
If the film doesn’t ring a bell, this was the role 50 Cent lost 54 pounds for — using a liquid diet and working out three hours a day, according to the Huffington Post.
Will you be heading to the theaters on Valentine’s Day to see the emotionally charged drama?
