First Lady Michelle Obama recently stopped by the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. to spread some holiday cheer.
The First Lady read the holiday classic “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” to the young patients, and the Obama family dog, Bo, joined her on stage.
“This is one of my favorite things to do during the holidays…is coming to the Children’s Hospital to see all of you,” she said before starting her reading.
According to the White House blog, this holiday tradition started in the 1950s when Bess Truman was First Lady.
