Jamie Foxx’s much acclaimed docu-pic “Thunder Soul” was released to theaters on Friday.
The film, which Jamie executive produced, documents the life of the alumni from Houston’s 1970’s Kashmere High School Stage Band and their 35-year reunion tribute concert in honor of band leader Conrad “Prof” Johnson, who’s 92. Prof was responsible for guiding the once struggling jazz band to a successful and world-renowned jazz and funk band in the 70s.
