Athletic wear brand Under Armour has now zeroed in on women, focusing their business on the increased demand of females getting fit. And if there’s anyone worthy of a #WomenCrushWednesday post, it’s Misty Copeland, who at 24-years-old became the second black soloist in the history of the American Ballet Theatre. Under Armour tapped the ballerina (now 31) to tell the story of her triumphant rejection in the brand’s new “I Will What I Want” campaign.
Get inspired by Copeland’s video (and killer body) featuring a voiceover of a young girl reciting the dancer’s rejection letter on why she has, “the wrong body for ballet,” while the history-making ballerina proves them wrong tenfold.
