Actress and producer Nia Long has decided to publicly support the Barack Obama re-election campaign.
The ESSENCE cover model said she supports President Obama because he’s sensitive to the core values of family. “He’s sensitive to the struggles of the average working American person; he values education; he values women; he values healthcare. He’s committed to the American people,” she said.
Long is urging voters to educate themselves on his policies and discover how those decisions affect their lives. “These are all important things that we have to discuss in order to pick the right candidate and to support our president.”
