Mya Auctions Off a Date for Charity

Are you Mya’s biggest fan? She hasn’t been making music lately, but she has been doing some good works. The outspoken animal rights advocate is giving away a dinner date to help raise money for the North Shore Animal League America, the largest no-kill rescue in the world.

The auction is live right now on CharityBuzz.com. Currently, the highest bid is for $850, but the auction won’t close until tomorrow, Wednesday, June 15th. Mary J. Blige once auctioned a Roc Nation internship with her team on the same site.

Mya is scheduled to drop her new album “K.I.S.S (Keep It Sexy and Simple)” in late 2011.
