Tennessee authorities are on the hunt for a semi-nude shooter who fatally shot four people and injured several others at a Waffle House early Sunday.
Police are looking for 29-year-old Travis Reinking, who they believe committed the crime before fleeing the scene in Antioch, TN.
The suspect allegedly wore a coat that he removed as he ran off.
“If you see a nude guy walking around this morning call the police department,” said Don Aaron of the Metro Nashville Police Department.
A customer at the Waffle House apparently wrestled the assault-type weapon away from Reinking, according to Police. Officials the customer monitored the Reinking’s moves from afar and jumped into action when he saw an opportunity.
According to police, Reinking shot two people outside the Waffle House before going into the restaurant and killing two others. FOX17 reports that at least two of the four injured suffered gunshot wounds. The other two are in critical condition and in critical but stable condition.
Other witnesses suffered cuts on their faces from shattered windows, according to CNN.
Authorities identified Reinking as the suspect after finding the vehicle allegedly used by the gunman was registered in that name.
His motive is not yet clear.
