When a fan asked if she’ll ever write and release a book, Nicki Minaj said, “Working on two books actually.”
It wouldn’t be the first time she ventured outside of music to earn a little extra pocket change. Minaj already has her own nail polish line, O.P.I. by Nicki Minaj, a successful lipstick, a MAC Viva Glam campaign with Ricky Martin and EURweb reports that she’s preparing for a fashion line as well.
“I never thought about music as being the end-all, be-all,” Minaj told Allure magazine. “I always looked at it like a business; something that I could create an empire out of. So that’s why I’m only about to put out my second album and I’m already thinking this.”
When the time comes, Minaj will join the ranks of Jay-Z, Common and Tyra Banks who’ve all put out books to expand their business.
