The city of Oakland is mourning the death of a 16-year-old girl, who was fatally shot last night during a memorial ceremony for two boys who drowned, reports ABC News.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was at a vigil when two nearby men opened fire after getting into an argument while playing dice.

According to police, they ran down the block where the vigil was taking place, causing people to flee. The teen and three other people were struck. The girl died at a hospital, but the other victims are expected to survive.
Witnesses say that many people were worried the gunfire was part of another mass shooting.

“The really scary thing, coming on the heels of the shooting in Orlando, you wonder is it gang-related, or is it a crazy gunman?” witness Mason Stone told ABC News. “I guess you figure sooner or later if you live in a city like that, you…realize anything can happen at any time.”
The state of the gunmen is unclear.
