The trailer for HBO’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. documentary, King in the Wilderness has arrived. The film explores the last three year’s of King’s life and captures the activist’s passion and determination. A survey conducted by NPR has found that a majority of transgender and gender nonconforming teachers face harassment in the workplace. The survey included information from 79 teachers across the United States and Canada with 40 percent of teachers adding that their students were more accepting than adults. (NPR)
Magnolia Pictures has acquired the North American rights Regina Hall’s Support the Girls ahead of SXSW. The comedy centers around Hall as a restaurant manager who loves her employees like family. A suspect in the murder of a missing Arizona mother has been arrested. The body of Jasmine Rain Dunbar was found burned in a field after she went missing and her baby was found alone in a car. Dunbar’s ex Antwaun Travon Ware was arrested after confessing to burning her body. (People)
