We can all give a sigh of relief knowing that President Barack Obama and Michelle are coming back to us soon.
The couple recently signed with the Harry Walker Agency in preparation for a speaking tour and book deals.
“President Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama have selected the Harry Walker Agency (HWA) to coordinate their respective speaking engagements,” their spokesperson Kevin Lewis told Politico. “In addition, Attorneys Robert Barnett and Deneen Howell will manage contract negotiations with potential publishers for the former president and Mrs. Obama’s respective books.”
Since exiting the White House on Jan. 20, we’ve seen the pair living their best lives while on vacation in the British Virgin Islands. But as Obama noted in his farewell speech in Chicago on Jan. 10, the plan was always to come back to the people.
“I won’t stop; in fact, I will be right there with you, as a citizen, for all my remaining days,” he said. “But for now, whether you are young or whether you’re young at heart, I do have one final ask of you as your president — the same thing I asked when you took a chance on me eight years ago. I am asking you to believe.”

Similarly making a transition into public speaking are the Bidens, who both signed contracts with the Creative Arts Agency (CAA). Vice President Joe and Dr. Jill Biden hope to “amplify” the work they did in the White House through the deal that could include a number of mediums.
“Jill and I remain more dedicated than ever to addressing the critical issues of the day, and we see in CAA a shared passion and shared values that are at the core of our family and our goals,” said Biden. “We look forward to leveraging their expertise, across many fields, as part of our team.”
Most known for its representation of actors and athletes, CAA also inked deals with senior adviser to Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett and Senator Barbara Boxer.
