Representative-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had the perfect clap back after Donald Trump Jr. tried to insult her.
The president’s son shared an Instagram post implying that socialists want Americans to eat dogs under their economic platform. The meme included an image of Ocasio-Cortez, who is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and will become the youngest woman ever to be elected to Congress.
In the caption, Trump Jr. said the meme was “funny cuz it’s true!”
Ocasio-Cortez , who has never been known to shy away from a fight, hit right back with a tweet.
“I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up,” she said, referencing the recent updates in the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The “brain” line appeared to reference President Donald Trump saying in September that an expert on Chinese affairs had assured him that “China has total respect for Donald Trump and for Donald Trump’s very, very large brain,” CNN reports.
