Once again President Donald Trump has fixed his mouth to accuse someone else in the Obama administration of committing a crime.
This time it’s Susan Rice, the former national security advisor who’s been a hot topic stemming from the wiretapping scandal seemingly whipped from thin air.
As reported by Bloomberg, an unidentified source accused Rice of “requesting the identities of U.S. persons in raw intelligence reports on dozens of occasions that connect to the Donald Trump transition and campaign.”
Rice has since denied the claim, but that hasn’t stopped Republicans from saying otherwise.

“I think it’s going to be the biggest story,” Mr. Trump said in an interview in the Oval Office today. “It’s such an important story for our country and the world. It is one of the big stories of our time.” When asked if he believe Rice has committed a crime in using surveillance for political purposes, he said, “Yes, I think.”
As noted by The New York Times, Mr. Trump, who has a history of promising to produce evidence to back up his unverified claims, and failing to do so, did not make clear what crime he was accusing Ms. Rice of committing. It is legal and not unusual for a national security adviser to request the identities of Americans who are mentioned in intelligence reports provided.
All this talk is still in midst of an ongoing investigation into Russia’s ties in the election and entire administration currently in the White House. Trump is also facing a series of lawsuits, a few that could potentially lead to impeachment.
