A progressive anti-Brexit organization, Led By Donkeys, aren’t staying quiet during Donald Trump’s UK visit. The organization is responsible for a projection showing an image of both former President Barack Obama and his approval rating of 72 percent next to Trump and his rating of 21 percent.
“Just so you know, you’re wildly unpopular here in Britain. SAD! People REALLY don’t like you (though they love @BarackObama),” the organization tweeted out on Monday.
Led By Donkeys is determined to make the unfavorable president uncomfortable with its series of projections throughout the city. They even projected a video of conservative parliament member Boris Johnson criticizing Trump.
“I think he’s portraying a quite stupifying ignorance that makes him frankly unfit to hold the office of President of the United States,” Johnson said in the video projected onto London’s Big Ben.
The organization continued to taunt the president when they found out that he apparently couldn’t bare to see late senator John S McCain’s name on a US Navy war ship during his earlier trip to Japan.
The Wall Street Journal was the first to report last Thursday that the White House asked the Navy’s Seventh Fleet to have USS John S. McCain hidden from view so the name of the ship would be entirely out of site during Trump’s visit.
Trump was apparently so deeply triggered by the name, that the ship was reportedly covered by a tarp to spare his eyes.
“We read the story about the sailors on a US warship being ordered to hide from you because you’re triggered by the name on their hats,” the organization tweeted. “So we turned Madame Tussaud’s into a giant USS John McCain baseball cap. Welcome to London!”
