On the heels of Barack Obama announcing that he’ll be campaigning for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in Georgia, Oprah Winfrey is now heading to Georgia as well.
According to BuzzFeed News, Winfrey will knock on doors for Abrams, as well as host two town halls on Thursday. Polls show that Abrams is currently in a statistical tie with GOP candidate Brian Kemp, who currently serves as Georgia’s secretary of state, and is at the center of a voter suppression controversy.
“I am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting and honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election and the boundless potential of Georgians,” Abrams said in a statement to BuzzFeed.
With a race so close, many are wondering how many more tactics will Kemp employ in an attempt to fraudulently when this race?
