All of the artists have either been active in social justice movements or have formed non-profit organizations that fall in line with the goals of the My Brotherโs Keeper initiative.
โMany of these artists have lent their voices and platforms to promoting these issues,โ according to a White House official who spoke to The Hill. โThrough their own nonprofit work or artistic commitment, many of these artists have found ways to engage on the issues of criminal justice reform and empowering disadvantaged young people across the country.โ
