Just days after launching his 2012 reelection campaign, President Obama is making yet another successful push for social media in the White House. He recently announced plans to host an open town hall meeting via Facebook on April 20. The meeting – which will feature Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg – will focus on the nation’s economy and budget.
While the actual event will take place at the sites’ headquarters in Palo Alto, California, the president will answer user-generated questions livestream for anyone logged onto Facebook. The digital gathering aims to connect the president with “Americans across the country to discuss ways to “put our economy on a more responsible fiscal path,” the White House Facebook page reads.
Facebook will be choosing user questions for the meeting so if there’s something you’re dying to ask the president, now’s your chance — just click here to submit a question or comment for the event.
