It’s that time of year again: Time for President Obama to drop his annual summer playlist.
POTUS dropped his highly anticipated jam list on Twitter earlier this morning, and we couldn’t help but realize that his tunes have some serious soul to them.
His more upbeat daytime playlist includes songs like “LoveHate Thing” by Wale, “Smooth Sailin’” by Leon Bridges, “Tightrope” by Janelle Monae, “Forever Begins” by Common, “As We Enter” by Nas & Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and “Sinnerman” by Nina Simone.

Meanwhile, his nighttime playlist goes full-on R&B with tunes that include Chrisette Michele’s “If I Have My Way,” Ledisi’s “Alright,” “D’Angelo’s “Lady,” Chance the Rapper’s “Acid Rain,” and Floetry’s “Say Yes.” We see you, POTUS!
