In the light of last week’s Paris terrorist attacks that left 139 people dead, Prince is opting to cancel his European tour.
According to the Guardian, the singer posted on his website that his “Prince Spotlight: Piano & a Microphone” tour, which was scheduled to kick off on November 21 in Austria, had been postponed with a reschedule date not yet set.

“Due to the tragic events in Paris, the tour promoter has decided to postpone the upcoming European tour until further notice,” his website read.
Prince first announced the tour last week. Citing the need for a challenge, he had chosen to go on tour without a band; the shows would simply be him playing the piano and singing.
