Queen Latifah is reppin’ curvy girls in an all new way. With the launch of her debut clothing line “Queen” on HSN, the talented rapper-turned-designer plans to “bury” the term “plus size” and will instead brand her clothes as “all sizes.” She said the new fashion lingo aims to make every woman feel sexy at any size. Amen to that one Queen!
“[Plus-size] is a word we need to bury at this point” Latifah told Women’s Wear Daily. “The truth is we all would like to wear the same clothes. We all want to wear beautiful, fly clothes no matter what size you are, and so for me it was important to match with a company that understood and respected that ideal.”
The launch of her new clothing line is scheduled for this August. We can’t wait!
