1. The nominees for the 2018 Grammy Awards have been announced and there are quite a few familiar faces in the major categories. SZA earned a Best New Artist nomination, while JAY-Z earned nominations for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. 2. Donald Trump is getting ripped after making an insulting joke about Elizabeth Warren, referring to her as “Pocahontas” during a ceremony honoring Native American veterans. (The Guardian)
3. Florida has reportedly paid millions over three decades to settle sexual harassment cases against state workers. Information reveals that more than 300 cases have resulted in payments since 1987 with nearly 60 percent of cases involving employees who worked in the Department of Corrections. (NBC-Miami)
4. Get Out came out on top at Monday night’s Gotham Awards. The horror-satire took home Breakthrough Director, Best Screenplay, and the Audience Award.
