1. Seems to be a little beef brewing between LaVar Ball and former reality television star Donald Trump. Ball downplayed Trumps involvement in getting his son, LiAngelo, and two other UCLA basketball players back to the US after they were detained on suspicion of shoplifting. Trump fired off a tweet calling Ball “ungrateful.” (ESPN)
2. Kenya Moore is turning over a new leaf now that she has love in her life. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram to declare that she wants to “put my past mistakes behind me” and move on with a positive attitude. This change of heart is due to her new marriage to hubby Marc Daly. (Instagram)
3. Meek Mill has reportedly been moved from solitary confinement to a completely different prison. A sources says the rapper has been moved to State Correctional Institution in Chester, PA, where he is now in general population and able to go outdoors. The rapper also received support from former foe Drake, who stopped his show in Melbourne, Australia to exclaim, “Free Meek Mill.” (TMZ, Pitchfork)
4. Erykah Badu’s “Tyrone” turned 20 over the weekend. The singer shared a clip of herself singing the song and gave thanks to vocalists Karen Bernard, Joyce Hurtz, and N’Dambi for “hitting that CALL HIM'” and being super alert because “they never knew what I was going to do next on stage.” (Instagram)
5. Eniko and Kevin Hart’s little baby boy could arrive any moment. Eniko took to Instagram to share an update and note to her son, who is three days past his due date, “I know you’re quite comfy and warm in there..but it’s time! Even though we don’t have any control over when you decide to make your debut we just want u to know that we are ready for you any day now baby boy, it’s time to meet your parents! 6. J. Cole and Cardi B finally met and the North Carolina rapper shared some advice with the Bronx native, which she has assured everyone she will definitely follow. (The Shade Room)
7. Salt-N-Pepa’s teaming up with Taraji P. Henson for her White Hot Holidays TV special. The ladies will play Sugar N Spice in a skit that sees Method Man as the Tooth Fairy and Henson as Mrs. Claus. (TMZ)
8. Infamous cult leader Charles Manson has died. Manson is famous for orchestrating the gruesome murders of Sharon Tate, who was pregnant, and six others. Manson was serving nine life sentences in a prison in Corcoran, Calif. He was 83. (NPR)
