Ahhh, spring. It’s really here. We hope you’re enjoying all that the season has brought you thus far, whether it be the beauty of blooming flowers or the promise of turning over a new leaf in your life. Isn’t it amazing how a change of season offers such possibility?
This week promises to be a full one. First up, Erykah Badu will release her new album, “New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh.” Did you catch her performance on “The Wendy Williams Show” last week? Erykah never disappoints and if you’re a loyalist of her music like we are, you’ll be waiting with baited breath for her latest collection to pop up on the iTunes menu come Tuesday morning.
And yes, Usher will resurface—finally!—with “Raymond vs. Raymond.” We’ve all watched as he’s endured a turbulent couple of years and he’s truly been missed. At the end of the day, we just really want our old “Ursher” back, don’t you? (Fingers crossed!) If you’re up at midnight, Eastern time, on Tuesday, be sure to log on to usherworld.com for a special live chat with the Grammy winner.
On Friday, we have no doubt that folks will be running to theaters, in droves, to check out Tyler Perry’s latest, “Why Did I Get Married Too?” If the trailers are any indication, be sure to brace yourself for the laughs and, of course, the drama. We’re hedging our bets that the film will take next weekend’s box office by storm. What are your predictions?
